Call for Reviewers, Review Coordinators, and Editorial Board Members

The Editors of The IMEJ of Computer-Enhanced Learning invite interested colleagues to join our pool of reviewers and review coordinators. Participating in the review of an IMEJ article is the first step in applying for membership on the Editorial Board.

To join us in our work, please fill out the Call for Participation Form at the AACE/IMEJ Web site (http://www.aace.org/pubs/imej/call.htm) and email your resume to imej@wfu.edu. Indicate whether you would like to be a reviewer or coordinate a review and if you are interested in becoming a member of our Editorial Board.

Once we have received your application, we will write to you and add your name to our list of reviewers or review coordinators.

As articles are submitted to IMEJ, review coordinators with related expertise will be sent abstracts of the articles and can accept responsibility to organize a peer review. The protocol for conducting a review is described at http://imej.wfu.edu/about/infoforauthor.asp.

Upon successful completion of a review, coordinators will be formally nominated to become members of IMEJ's Editorial Board. (Reviewing three separate papers may serve as an alternative to coordinating the review of one paper.) IMEJ's Executive Board will vote on acceptance of new nominees or renewal of existing board members. The tenure for membership on the board is three years.* Terms may be renewed by those board members who remain actively engaged in the review procedure.

In addition to continuing to serve as review coordinators, Editorial Board members will work with the Executive Committee in an advisory capacity.

*Founding board members officially begin their three year tenure with the release of the first issue in May 1999.
