Dr. Som Naidu is Associate Professor in the Multimedia Education Unit and adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Learning and Educational Development (Faculty of Education, The University of Melbourne). The Multimedia Education Unit (http://www.meu.unimelb.edu.au/) provides support to academics in the teaching departments at The University of Melbourne in the transformation of their teaching practices with the use of multimedia and related educational technologies. Dr. Naidu's research interests are in the areas of Educational Technology including Open and Distance Learning, Cognition, Learning and Instructional Sciences, and Educational Evaluation. Dr. Naidu is the Executive Editor of "Distance Education: An International Journal" (http://www.usq.edu.au/dec/decjourn/demain.htm), and Co-Editor-in-Chief of "The Electronic Journal of Instructional Science and Technology" (http://www.usq.edu.au/electpub/e-jist/homepage.htm).

Ms Mary Oliveris a Lecturer with the Nursing Department at the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Australia. She is involved in teaching undergraduate as well as graduate students and uses computer mediated communications technologies, and approaches to teaching and learning such as Computer Supported Collaborative-Problem Based Learning (CSC-PBL), and Critical Incident Based Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CI-CSCL) in nursing education. Her research interests include clinical decision-making in nursing, trans-cultural nursing, refining computer conferencing approaches used in implementing CSC-PBL and CI-CSCL models of learning in nursing education, and integration and evaluation of the efficacy of flexible delivery technologies in undergraduate teaching. Mary is the project manager of the Clinical Decision Making Support System with Case-Based Reasoning developed for Graduate Nurses entering the workforce that was launched recently in Australia.

Dr. Andy Koronios is Associate Professor of Information Systems, and currently Head of the Department of Information Systems at The University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Andy has previously served as Acting Dean, Acting Associate Dean, and Head of Foundation Studies Program in the Department. His research interests include Educational Technology, Electronic Commerce, Multimedia and Expert Systems Development, Applications of Microcomputers in Business, Operating Systems, and Windows Applications Development. Andy teaches courses and supervises graduate students in a range of these areas and has received several awards of excellence for his research and teaching.
