Computer-Mediated Communication and Foreign Language Learning via Electronic Mail
Amy S.C. Leh, California State University at San Bernardino

Amy S. C. Leh is an assistant professor at the Department of Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education of the College of Education at California State University at San Bernardino. She has a Bachelor's degree in English, two Master's degrees (one in English and one in Educational Media and Computers), and a Ph. D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Instructional Technology. Her main responsibilities include teaching graduate courses (e.g. Computers and Learning, Advanced Computer Applications in Education, Developing Computer-Based Instructional Materials, Telecommunications in Education, and Computer Based Technology in Education), advising graduate students, and providing service to professional communities. She is the author of more than fifteen articles and has made more than fifteen presentations in national and international conventions. She is currently an officer of the International Division of an international organization, the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT). She strongly believes that everyone should be and can be educated and that technology can make a difference.
