Stewart Carter is Executive Editor of the Historic Brass Society Journal, General Editor of Bucina: The Historic Brass Society Series (Pendragon Press), and former editor of Historical Performance. He has published articles in Historic Brass Society Journal, Early Music, Historical Performance, The New Grove Dictionary of Women Composers, and Women Composers Through the Ages. He teaches music history and theory at Wake Forest University, and directs the Collegium Musicum.
