DEMO - Semantic research on Individualisme

Cognates - that is, words that are essentially the same in two different languages - often carry connotations that reflect cultural differences embedded in language. New on-line target language dictionaries make it possible for students to investigate word meanings in more depth to explore these cultural differences. Following the example played out in the Cultura Project, let us examine the differences between the French individualisme vs. the English (notably, American English) individualism.
